Migration to Office EU
Move to Office EU from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace without turning your day upside down.
How the Migration Works
Office EU uses a proven, self-service migration flow to move your files to a more secure and transparent workspace.
Choose where you're moving from
Pick your current provider (for example Microsoft 365 or Google).
Connect your accounts
Enter the login details the wizard asks for to start the migration.
Run the copy
The portal shows progress and sends status emails, notifying you when the migration is finished.
What Will Be Moved?
Office EU will only migrate data stored on the current provider's server and accessible via those interfaces. This includes email, folders, attachments, contacts, and calendars.
After the copy
Once the migration is finished, you can fully switch from using your old workspace to Office EU. You can also manually upload any local files from your device which were not moved during the automatic migration process.
Will There Be Downtime?
For most people, the safest approach is a phased switch to avoid downtime:
Start the migration while everyone keeps using the old service.
Review the migrated data in Office EU.
Switch over when you're ready.
How Long Will It Take?
It depends on mailbox size, file volume, and provider limits.
Large mailboxes may take longer because the service analyses the source first.
Providers limit how many parallel connections can run, which can slow things during busy periods.
In some cases, starts may be delayed for operational reasons.
Stay Secure During & After Your Migration
Encrypted connections by default
Data moves over encrypted links, using SSL or STARTTLS. If encryption is not offered, the transfer may use a basic connection.
Read-only access to your old account
The tool only reads your source account and copies items into Office EU. It does not change, delete, or move anything in your old mailbox.
No storage after transfer ends
Your data is copied straight into Office EU during the transfer. The migration service does not keep a stored copy once the transfer is finished.
